제10회 삼성분자의학국제심포지엄이 오는 11월 6일(토) 오전 9시부터 5시 30분까지 삼성서울병원 대강당에서 개최된다.
이번 국제심포지엄은 "인간질환에 대한 유전체적 접근(Genomic Approach to Human Disease)"을 주제로 관련 분야의 세계적인 석학들이 초청될 예정이다.
이번 심포지엄은 개개인의 유전적인 차이가 질병의 원인, 발달과정에서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 질병의 치료 측면에서 함께 논의해보고 SNP, Haplotype Analysis, Phamarcogenetics 및 Proteomics에 대해서도 토의를 진행한다.이번 삼성분자의학 국제심포지엄에는 ▷Jonathan Pritchard 박사(시카고대학 인간유전체학부)의 Population Genetic Approaches to Studying The Genetics of Complex Diseases ▷Katsushi Tokunaga 박사(도쿄대)의 Mapping of Susceptibility ▷Anthony Brookes 박사(영국 레스터대학)의 SNPs That Are Not SNPs,MSVs, PSVs and Other Challenges to The Study of Human DNA Variation cNancy Cox 박사(시카고대학 인간유전체학부)의 Linkage and Linkage Disequilibrium Mapping of Stuttering ▷Zhengping Zhuang 박사(미국 국립보건원(NIH))의 integration of Tissue Microdissection into Genomics and Proteomics:A New Approach to Study Diseases ▷김호근 교수(연세의대)의 Proteomics Approach to Cancer Research ▷신재국 교수(인제대학교)의 The Integrated Understanding of Genetic/Environmental Factors In The Predictive Pharmacogenetics ▷David Goldstein박사(영국 런던유니버시티 칼리지대)의 The Genetics of Variable Drug Response 등의 강연이 진행된다.
